Fast roads in slight ascent to the village of Riudoms-. Then more of the same for kms in the direction of Mont-Roig. Dreamlike tracks, some paved and others not. Before entering Mont-roig turn right and begin the ascent to the Castell. In the village of Vilanova d'Escornalbou you can drink water and get to the main course of the journey. You will go down some steep ramps until a junction that descends to the left to L'Argentera. We continue straight on and arrive at a crossroads where the last wall will lead us to the gates of the castle/monastery. They will not let you in with your bike.
The vertiginous descent through a fabulous Mediterranean forest with a predominance of holm oaks. All paved and very well cared for tourism. Already down we cross Duesaigues- and fast track with many ups and downs until we reach the Pantà de Riudecanyes-. Once past it, you will immediately enter the village that gives its name to the reservoir. Leaving the Rambla, a small road with no traffic at all to access Cambrils, where you take a great bike path parallel to the coast that will end up in Cambrils.
